Full Description

This bid will select multiple contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to trim or remove and grind stumps of shade and ornamental trees, including brush removal, at various locations, countywide, per specification. The abstract scope is not the full dimensions of the work performed. Full specifications are included with the bid documents.
Provide name, address, phone no., email address and license for the Certified Arborist. All equipment must be listed on the attached bid form and is subject to inspection by the district’s assigned Project Coordinator. The bid form lists common equipment/machinery typically utilized for these types of projects. Vendors responding to this bid must utilize properly trained and licensed operators for all equipment. The district’s Project Coordinator will contact the awarded Vendor to obtain a written estimate for each project on an as needed basis throughout the contract term. Vendor shall visit the site and provide a firm fixed price proposal for the proposed project within five (5) working days from request. Estimates shall be itemized and must include all equipment, labor and material charges. Project estimates will be reviewed by the districts’ Project Coordinator and, upon approval, the Vendor will be given authorization to proceed with work.
The State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) are part of the Florida Building Code. SREF requirements shall apply to construction, renovation, and remodeling of public educational facilities owned by Pinellas County School Board.
