The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Advanced Digital Forensic Solutions, Inc. to procure Advanced Digital Forensics (ADF software) Digital Evidence Investigator and Triage-Investigator software as part of the broader effort to increase the forensics analytics capability within OIG's Investigations Division. ADF software will provide an on-site solution to perform real-time forensics analysis. ADF solution provides an in-situ triage solution for live forensics performed on-scene. ADF can rapidly extract relevant information without requiring extensive training, making it perfect for forensic triage by first responders. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base period with two (4) 12-month option periods. This is a sole source contracting action pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service that will satisfy DHS-OIG's requirements. This synopsis is for information purposes only and is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government's requirements may submit substantiating capability documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within five (5) calendar days after publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement to Jaspreet Matta, Contracting Officer, via email: Jaspreet.matta@oig.dhs.gov, no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time, March 27. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the required services, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable in response to this notice and will not be considered.
