The Contractor will assist the Chief, TRICARE Overseas Program Branch, TRICARE Area Office (TAO) Directors, and Military Treatment Facility (MTF) commanders in operating an integrated health care delivery system which effectively combines the resources of the military's direct medical care system with the Contractor's health care support services. The contract includes services for active duty family members enrolled in TRICARE Prime who require emergency health care services while traveling overseas. The contract also calls for the establishment of host nation provider networks around military treatment facilities. The contract offers Prime-like programs in both MTF and remote locations to active duty service members and their command-sponsored family members, including National Guard and Reserve members on orders for more than 30 days.
