TruPASS – Transforming Supply Chains: From Trust to Sustainability with Digital Product Passports & Identities

TruPASS is a research project managed by the Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek under solicitation KICH1.DI01.24.007. The initiative focuses on the development of Digital Product Passports to enhance transparency and sustainability within supply chains by tracking product origins and environmental impacts. By integrating secure digital identities and smart technologies, the project seeks to establish a foundation of trust among diverse stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and widespread adoption of these passports. The project employs a collaborative approach, bringing together industry partners, applied research institutes, and universities. Research efforts are centered on practical, real-world applications within the sectors of hydrogen, container logistics, and sustainability reporting. Ultimately, TruPASS aims to drive the transition toward a greener economy by creating a more transparent and accountable system for sharing product data.
