Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has commissioned a combined evaluation of two (2) projects in the Caribbean – (1) the Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) project and (2) the Improved Access to Justice in the Caribbean (IMPACT Justice) project. The aim of the evaluation is to undertake a summative and assess the achievement of the results, and infom decision making regarding future justice reforms of these projects. The evaluation will provide learning by key stakeholders with opportunities to identify a way to sustain results after the completion of the projects. The objectives of the evaluation, are the following: • Assess the effectiveness of the projects and integrating cross cutting thematic priorities; • Identify the factors that facilitated or constrained results achievement in the projects; • Assess the relevance and sustainability of results; and • Provide findings, lessons , good practices, conclusions and recommendations on programming in the justice sector in the Caribbean.
