Tunable Laser

The Texas A&M University System is soliciting bids under solicitation TAMUS-ITB-26-0527 for the purchase of a tunable laser system and associated freight for Texas A&M-RELLIS in Bryan, Texas. Bids must be submitted electronically via AggieBid by November 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM Central Time, with late submissions strictly prohibited. The procurement consists of two primary line items: the tunable laser system and shipping costs, which must be quoted as F.O.B. Destination. While manufacturer names and models provided in the specifications are descriptive, any requirements using mandatory language such as must, shall, or minimum are non-negotiable, and the A&M System retains final authority on product acceptability. Award decisions will be based on best value, evaluating factors including technical conformance to specifications, pricing, delivery and installation timeframes, shipping terms, and the vendor's past relationship with state entities. Bidders are required to provide firm pricing, detailed warranty information, and export control disclosures, including ITAR or ECCN classifications if applicable. Payment terms are Net 30 upon delivery and receipt of a correct invoice. All respondents must adhere to the requirements outlined in the Tunable Laser Bid Specifications and the federal terms and conditions detailed in Exhibit A and B.
