AI Contract Overview
This contract, issued by the Department of Energy through the Brookhaven National Laboratory office, requests a firm fixed price ("All Inclusive" FFP) quote in the name of the requester for turbo pumps, rack controllers, and related components with no substitutes allowed. Respondents are required to provide key details including the current date, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), country of origin, and lead time. The contractor must offer their best price along with any applicable discounts and supply an online published price list or an alternative form of pricing justification such as a redacted invoice or webpage screenshot, to comply with DOE pricing transparency requirements. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with their UEI to support DOE reporting unless they are foreign vendors, in which case they must complete a specific AMS form. Failure to register in SAM could disqualify vendors from doing business with BSA. The contract includes attached Terms and Conditions, requires submission by May 28, 2026, and points to contacts for assistance with SAM registration. The place of performance is Upton, New York, and the solicitation number is 479102, with a specified NAICS code 334419 for electronic component manufacturing.

2. System For Award Management (SAM):
In order to support DOE reporting requirements, BSA requires all its vendors/contractors to be registered in the U. S. Government supplier database entitled System for Award Management (SAM) with their Unique Entity ID number (UEI#). Registration can be performed online at www.sam.gov. If not already registered, please register as soon as possible since failure to do so may preclude BSA from doing business with your organization. Please note that there is no charge for SAM registration. When registering, you are strongly urged to copy and paste www.sam.gov onto your browser address rather than utilizing your search engine. Utilizing your search engine may redirect you to an erroneous site. You may obtain assistance in completing your registration by contacting the Federal Help Desk at 866-606-8220 or by contacting your local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), which can be found at https://www.aptac-us.org
*Foreign vendors are not required to be registered in SAM but must fill out a AMS-Form-050 (Enclosure B) when applicable.
Any resulting purchase order will be subject to the attached Terms and Conditions.
Please return all items on or before 5/28/26
