TWO (2) DISHWASHER WASTE SYSTEMS

The U.S. Marine Corps, through the Regional Contracting Office at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, is conducting market research via a Request for Information to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying two dishwasher waste systems with integrated close-coupled waste handling for food service operations. The systems must feature a 7.5 HP grinder motor with a 30-inch slurry chamber, a 3 HP water extractor, and be capable of processing up to 1000 pounds per hour of mixed food service waste including scraps, paper, plastic, and cardboard. Hardware specifications include a 12-inch stainless steel disk, four stationary blocks with two cutting surfaces, two stainless steel shearing blades, and flanged feet with vibration dampening pads. Control systems must incorporate HMI/PLC touch screen interfaces with onboard diagnostics and proactive maintenance software, enabling automated functions such as fill cycles, clean cycles, extractor flushing, deodorizing, automatic drainage, trough connectivity, and re-circulating pump operation. All systems must operate on 480 volts, three-phase power at 20 amps or less and include one year of standard parts and labor coverage. No installation is required at this stage. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 332215, and responses are sought from vendors who can demonstrate the technical capability to meet these exacting requirements.
