The Department of National Defence (DND) has a non-recurring requirement to procure two (2) optical telescopes for tracking Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Deep Space satellites. The telescopes must be compatible with the existing telescope mount, a Planewave L500.
Onward shipment from the delivery point to the consignee will be DND's responsibility. All the deliverables must be ready for shipping no later than by 1 February 2024.
Deliverables are detailed in full in Annex “A”- Statement of Requirement, of the Request for Proposal.
It is DND’s intention to award a single contract for this requirement.
Bidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement.
The Bidder must adequately demonstrate in its proposal that the proposed Optical Telescopes and accessories meet all of the specifications detailed in Section 4. Requirements of the ANNEX “A” - Statement of Requirement.
The basis of selection shall be the compliant Bidder that offers the lowest-cost compliant proposal.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
DND reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the proposals received.
Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
