This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.5 Million. Description of Requirement: Tychest Herbicide Injection - Hand application of herbicide to black birch, striped maples, Fraser magnolia, red maple, sugar maple, black gum, witch -hazel, mountain holly, sassafras, and American beech in accordance with the attached specifications (attached) and wage determination (attached). The areas to be treated are within the boundaries of the Monongahela National Forest, Greenbrier Ranger District, in Randolph County, WV (see attached maps). Units range in size from 6 acres to 235 acres. Contractor shall have from June 1, 2017 through November 1, 2018 to complete the work.
