This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capabilities of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This is issued by the Shore Infrastructure Logistics Command West, Alameda, California to identify sources capable of provide Armed Gate Guards and Roving Armed Security Guards Services at USCG Base San Pedro/Los Angeles, San Pedro, California for base plus four (4) option years, if exercised by the Government, beginning 01 January 2013. A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on FedBizOps Electronic Posting System at www.fbo.gov. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor this avenue for release of any solicitation or synopsis. The applicable NAICS Code is 561612 (7381) (Security Guards and Patrol Services). The related small business size standard is $18.5 million. This MAYBE a 100% Set-Aside Small Business or 8(a) Competitive Small Business Concern or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside or HUBZone Set-Aside concern.
