The Overseas Private Investment Corporation intends to award a sole source purchase order to the incumbent firm, Internet Securities, Inc., for multi-country information services through the ISI Emerging Markets service. These services include current and archived news sources, analyst reports, government documents, economic data and analysis, industry surveys, financial statistics, securities market prices and data, international laws and commercial codes, accounting and regulatory standards, and extensive access to individual company financial statements, market prices, news reports, and market indicators. The service is to provide, via private website, country and regional menus that cover most of the emerging market countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The site allows for easy browsing of current information through menus that offer different sectors and sources and provides a search mechanism for acquiring background information in an archive that covers several previous years. The geographic scope and the nature of the information are ideally suited to OPIC's information needs, providing reliable and crucial information for a wide range of OPIC functions and operations. Licensing provides access for five concurrent users via an IP authentication protocol for general research and reference. Subscription includes 2 email alerts. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
