UIFB 161289 Battery Replacement

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids under UIFB 161289 for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of 20 Myers BAT-CG12180 batteries, or an approved equivalent, for an existing lighting UPS unit located in Newport News within the Hampton Roads District. The scope of work includes the physical installation of the batteries, the start-up of the UPS unit, and the proper disposal of old batteries in accordance with DEQ and EPA regulations.
