UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Existing Leased Office Space Located in South Burlington, VT Project Number 2VT0023 The United States Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in South Burlington, VT, that will be expiring December 8, 2012. The Government seeks to lease approximately 6,829 RSF yielding 5,787 ANSI/BOMA office and related space, and 20 surface parking spaces in South Burlington, VT. The lease term requirement is for 10 years firm and must be available for occupancy by December 9, 2012. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and nonproductive agency downtime. The Space must meet requirements for fire-safety, seismic safety, and sustainability energy star standards per the terms of the solicitation, plus handicapped access in accordance with ABASS guidelines. Space shall be ready for occupancy no later than December 9, 2012. The propose lease shall be fully-serviced. Offered space shall not be located within 100/500 year-floodplain. The delineated area is as follows: within 1.40 miles from the Burlington International Airport, South Burlington, Vermont.
