Scope: Upcoming Prequalification Notification: Sunnyvale East and West Channels Flood Protection Project. The Project objective is to upgrade the Sunnyvale East and West Channels to provide 100-year flood protection capacity to 47 acres of industrial land and over 1,600 homes in Sunnyvale, CA. The project improvements include, but are not limited to: concrete floodwalls, concrete headwalls, a bridge replacement, new and retrofitted concrete culverts, levee raising, channel bank and bed stabilization, sediment removal, a new pedestrian and bike trail, and other incidental grading and earthwork. The improvements will be constructed within approximately 9.4 miles of existing channels that flow through the City of Sunnyvale.
