Upgrade/Replace Telecommunication Equipment

The purpose of this amendment is to correct the e-mail address for questions: (SEE BELOW) The purpose of this amendment is to add the following changes and remove the number of pages limited to the response: Questions regarding this RFI should be forwarded to the following e-mail addresses: DTS-POEngineeringSupport@state.gov and DST-POFALCON@state.gov. The Bureau of Diplomatic Telecommunications Program Office (DTS-PO), Department of State is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the equipment necessary to upgrade and/or replace the telecommunications equipment at a Post. Today, the equipment at post consists of an integrated IP-based telecommunications system to deliver DTS-PO services to government customers located at diplomatic missions. (SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS) In addition to the attached requirements, the following requirements apply: - The vendor must be a U.S. owned company - Cost is a significant factor - The System Requirements must be met in its entirety Please provide a response no later than 30-days from RFI post. This Request for Information (RFI) is solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received to this Request for Information (RFI) that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Request for Information (RFI).
