Solicitation Number: 11-Q-LDQ005022 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Arcet Equipment Company, 120 Industrial Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22401, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106-1b, Only One Source Reasonable Available to procure (1) Install an Upgraded Electronic Helium Manifold. Vendor will be responsible for on-site and off-site repairs, and for the replacement of parts as required during repairs. Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, Arcet Equipment Company is the sole provider of covering and replacing their products. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties are advised that no solicitation document is available for this requirement and may identify their interest and capacity by submitting a capabilities statement by 10:00 am, EST, by Tuesday August 2, 2011. The capability statement must reference FBI/LD Number 10-Q-LDQ005022. The capability statement should be delivered to the FBI Academy, Laboratory Building, Room 1252, Quantico, VA 22135, Attn: Christina R.
