This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Project: US Forest Service, International Institute of Tropical Forestry (IITF) Janitorial Services


This acquisition is Woman-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720 Janitorial Services  The small business size standard is $ 22 million.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation to be considered by the agency. 


Award Type: It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation.


Statement of Requirement: Provide janitorial services for five (5) buildings on the IITF complex: Headquarters, Library, Conference Center, Remote Sensing laboratory (known as the GIS building) and the multi-purpose building.


All work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, and standards. See Attachment 3, Performance Work Statements (PWS) for further information.
