AI Contract Overview
The United States Air Force Academy’s 10th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of supplying two new liquid nitrogen plants or generators to support the Chemistry Department and related science programs. Each unit must produce at least 60 liters of liquid nitrogen daily, with an integrated dewar capacity of no less than 210 liters, and must operate reliably at an altitude of 7,500 feet. The systems must fit within a 6.5 ft by 6 ft footprint, include an integrated filter bank to achieve 98% nitrogen purity with low-maintenance requirements, and feature safety automation such as automatic level monitoring and standby mode when the dewar is full. Full on-site installation and training must be provided, along with a comprehensive service kit, spare parts, and a maintenance manual. The equipment must be brand new, include a full parts and workmanship warranty, and be mounted on a floor stand with an air-cooled helium compressor and cryogenically insulated transfer lines. Vendors must offer in-state support in Colorado and meet all technical and operational specifications without exceptions. Interested suppliers must submit a capability statement by 9:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time on July 19, 2026, to Nathalieb Zepeda at Nathalieb.Zepeda@us.af.mil. The submission must include the company’s profile, CAGE and UEI codes, SAM registration status, business size classification under NAICS 325120, detailed technical documentation proving compliance with all requirements, estimated delivery timelines, and any existing government contract vehicles that include the product. This notice is strictly for market research and does not represent a commitment to issue a solicitation or obligate funds. Respondents will not be reimbursed for preparation costs, and the government will not provide feedback on submissions or notify participants of evaluation outcomes.
