Subject: Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to Juliet Funt (The Juliet Funt Group dba Talking on Purpose, Inc.), Professional Speaker. FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The U.S. Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) Commander's Action Group intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements for a service contract to guest speaker, Juliet Funt, of the Juliet Funt Group dba Talking on Purpose, Inc. Juliet Funt is requested to provide a speaker presentation in support of the Fall Wing Leadership Conference (WLC) from 24 September 2024 - 25 September 2024. The presentation is to be provided to an estimated fifty (50) attendees and the intent of this presentation is to provide Wing Leaders with a comprehensive - Operational Excellence Blueprint for implementation of Ms. Funt's suggested principles and strategies within the workforce/operation as leaders. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract is for Juliet Funt, of the Juliet Funt Group dba Talking on Purpose, Inc. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. On behalf of USAFE-AFAFRICA Commander's Action Group, the 700th Contracting Squadron (700 CONS) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to (Juliet Funt, Professional Speaker) for two speaking events on the topic of manning, retention strategies, streamlining team workloads, empowerment, and mindset. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611710 - EDUCATION SUPPORT SERVICES This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement.
