Full Description

This action increases the current contract ceiling by $6,500,000.00, pursuant to an amended justification and approval, for increased sustainment of TBMCS within the Marine Corps for its unique requirements, via software updates, while maintaining joint interoperability with U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Navy (USN) configurations. Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services (IS&GS) is the developer of TBMCS and is currently the sustainment contractor for TBMCS. Sustainment actions are required to maintain the DII COE baseline for interoperability and Information Assurance. USMC sustainment efforts will have to be integrated with USAF/Joint sustainment efforts in order to maintain a single joint TBMCS baseline. The joint TBMCS software baseline is maintained by Lockheed Martin IS&GS. The USMC maintenance support must be able to be accomplished without compromising joint TBMCS performance and functionality and without compromising the Information Assurance posture of the system. The intent is to incorporate USMC unique requirements into the joint baseline and to increase the Information Assurance posture of the system, specifically with the DII COE 3Z portions of the system.
