To be eligible, offerors must maintain an active registration in SAM.gov and be authorized to conduct business in the country where the work will be performed. The overhaul scope is defined by a comprehensive Work Item Index detailing over a hundred maintenance and repair activities, organized by frequency intervals such as annually, every 2.5 years, 5 years, and 10 years, with tasks covering critical systems including ballast tank zinc inspections, potable water tank preservation, immersion suit servicing, life raft certification, pilot boarding equipment maintenance, and topside and machinery space preservation. Work is classified into categories A, B, and NSP, indicating applicability, alternative versions, or non-scheduled items, with task identifiers following Navy-specific nomenclature indicative of compliance with naval maintenance standards. While no formal evaluation factors, award basis, pricing data, or contract value estimates are provided in this synopsis, the contract administration will be managed by Ms. Larissa Ortmann as the primary point of contact and Ms. Ai Li Lim as the ship repair program point of contact, overseeing technical performance. Execution is expected at a contractor shipyard in the Indo-Pacific, with inspections performed by the contractor under government oversight, though formal acceptance location and inspection criteria are not explicitly defined. No packaging, marking, or MIL-STD requirements are specified, and the solicitation does not include socioeconomic set-asides, option periods, or security
