Full Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (USP) McCreary, intends to issue solicitation 15B0AT27Q12000001 for Quarterly Certified Halal Meals. In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this requirement is for food products delivered FOB Destination to USP McCreary, 330 Federal Way, Pine Knot, KY 42635. The contract type is firm-fixed-price. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards to the responsible offeror(s) whose quote is most advantageous to the Government. Evaluation factors include price and past performance.
The solicitation will be available on or about October 4, 2026, and will be posted exclusively to https://sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for all updates and amendments. Bids must be received no later than October 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. Please note that deliveries will begin October 1, 2026, and will not be accepted prior to that date.
Payments will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $15,000.00 or less. Per FAR 52.212-3, all offerors must have an active registration and completed representations and certifications within the System for Award Management (SAM); the legacy ORCA system is no longer in use.
