The US Postal Service Implementation Acquisition CMT is seeking to identify qualified suppliers with nationwide capabilities to identify and quantify opportunities for energy consumption/cost and greenhouse gas reductions through the replacement, retrofit, modification, etc. of facilities systems at Postal Service facilities. Opportunities are to be identified through direct and/or indirect surveys and reviews of available facility data including, but not limited to, utility data, geographical data, facility drawings, etc. The information you provide in your submission will be the basis for the evaluation of your company. To ensure your submission is given full consideration, you must do the following: - Read this information carefully to make sure you understand what is required. - Provide a complete submission package in accordance with the instructions herein. - Do not leave any portion blank; indicate N/A if not applicable. - Provide information on the attached forms. Scope includes but is not limited to: - Specific areas of focus include building automation systems, compressed air systems, and air distribution networks. However, all facilities related systems (HVACR, lighting, envelope, domestic water, etc.) are included in this request. - Additional areas of focus include installed condition, maintenance procedures, and operating methods. - Renewable energy, energy purchasing, process/operational systems, fleet, and other non- facilities areas are not included in this request. - Prospective suppliers must demonstrate their capability to evaluate utility data, facilities systems data, and other relevant information to provide approximate energy, cost, and GHG reductions. - Prospective suppliers must demonstrate their capability to identify all line items required for the implementation of identified projects and to provide approximate costs for implementation. - Prospective suppliers must demonstrate their capability to provide a cost benefit analysis for all identified projects, including providing financial analyses. - Prospective suppliers are encouraged to demonstrate their capabilities to provide shovel-ready projects. - Prospective suppliers are encouraged to demonstrate their capabilities to provide construction management for identified projects. - Prospective suppliers are encouraged to demonstrate novel methodologies for identifying energy/GHG reduction projects which reduces cost/effort for identification. - Prospective suppliers must have the capacity to support a national program, including the 48 contiguous states, as well as non-contiguous states and territories. - Prospective suppliers must provide examples fees associated with services for a variety of facility sizes. The projected value of the upcoming projects are anticipated to range anywhere between $5,000 and $50,000 each. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, professional services contracts involving Postal Facilities typically ranging from 50,000 to 1,500,000 square feet. Additionally, the scope of work may include design-build contracts for the implementation of identified energy opportunities, ranging in estimated value from $100k - $1M. Your submission will be evaluated and if accepted by the US Postal Service, will allow your company to be placed on our source list which will be a resource utilized by Supply Management where you may be invited to participate in upcoming solicitations.
