The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is soliciting proposals for the USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD 8) Fiscal Year 2028 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). This Signature Availability is a comprehensive effort combining maintenance, modernization, and repair, requiring a contractor with substantial West Coast facilities, including a capable pier for the LHD ship class.
