Scope: The City of Ontario’s Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC) is seeking proposals for installing approximately 3,025 linear feet of 8-inch PVC recycled water main along Flora St, Vine Avenue, and F Street, approximately 5,175 linear feet of 8-inch PVC recycled water main along Euclid Avenue between Holt Boulevard and 4th Street, approximately 175 linear feet of 8-inch PVC along B Street and E Street, approximately 11,150 linear feet of 24-inch diameter cement mortar lined & coated welded steel pipe (CML&C WSP) recycled water main along Riverside Drive between Euclid Avenue and Vineyard Avenue, and approximately 125 linear feet of 8-inch PVC recycled water main along Euclid Avenue near the intersection of Riverside Avenue. In addition, OMUC is converting existing public irrigation systems to recycled water within the Euclid Avenue medians between Holt Boulevard and G Street and Riverside Drive and Walnut Street, James Bryant Park, Civic Center buildings, Town Square Park, Conservation Park, City Hall Annex, Centennial Park, and Riverside Drive Parkway, as described in the Plans and Specifications for OMUC Project No. UT1072. The Project also includes tree removal and planning, and associated environmental mitigation.
The Contractor will furnish all transportation, materials, tools, time, equipment, labor, and supplies to complete the improvements, together with the appurtenant work necessary or incidental to complete, in a workmanlike manner, the improvements as contemplated and as intended by the Plans and these Technical Specifications.
Notes: The bidder is solely responsible for “on time” submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder’s sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids.
