All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 9531BM20R0002. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06. This requirement is issued under full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 541380, "Testing Laboratories". Background The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is an independent Federal agency with the primary missions of investigating civil aviation accidents in the United States and significant accidents in the other modes of transportation -- railroad, highway, marine and pipeline -- and issuing safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents. The NTSB has a requirement to obtain vehicle and brake dynamometer testing to evaluate the braking performance of the Original Equipment Manufacturer/Original Equipment Supplier (OEM/OES) braking system for a 2001 Sport Utility Vehicle involved in an accident. Description of Requirement Review the attached solicitation which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for additional information. Basis for Award The NTSB solicits your proposal for vehicle and brake dynamometer testing services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in the award of one (1) firm fixed-price contract with an estimated period of performance of 45 days from the date of award.
