Verizon Wireless is authorized to modify its existing unmanned wireless communication facility at the Greystone site in St. Helena, California, with a series of equipment upgrades and replacements approved by the Napa County PBES Director on May 28, 2026. The modifications include the removal of twelve antennas and nine remote radio units, along with the removal and replacement of four over voltage protectors. In their place, nine new antennas and three remote radio units will be installed to enhance network performance and capacity. All associated appurtenant components such as cables, mounts, and related equipment on the tower and within the ground lease area are also to be removed and replaced to ensure full compatibility and operational integrity of the upgraded system.
