Full Description

This requirement is being competed pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, and FAR Part 13.5. This requirement is to establish an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for vFoglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition and vOptimizer for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The products identified above will be purchased on a usage model based on the vRam usage as defined in VMware vCloud Usage Meter Report (i.e., this ID/IQ is not purchasing the traditional perpetual or term based licenses). The offeror will be required to provide support, maintenance, and management of the vFoglight and vOptimizer products. Only Dell/Quest Foglight products are being considered in this requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote (RFQ) TIRNO-13-Q-00171 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69, effective September 3, 2013. This RFQ is based on NAICS code: 511210 This requirement includes a base year and two option years. The base year period of performance is from September 30, 2013 to September 29, 2014. Questions in response to this solicitation are due by September 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM EDT. Proposals in response to this solicitation are due by September 27, 2013 at 9:00 AM EDT.
