The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office (RSO) is seeking competitive bids for Viken Nighthawk-BTX series Imagers as described in Exhibit “A” product specifications on page 8 of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to support the Special Investigations Bureau of the Riverside County Sheriff Office (RSO). The Sheriff’s Office is the fourth largest in California, covering over 7,300 square miles. The purchase of these units will be made using grant funding and per our research we are looking to purchase Three (3) of the Viken Nighthawk-BTX units. Bidders should submit their lowest and best pricing initially. All price quotes should include shipping and handling, delivery, fuel surcharge, and freight.The RSO must receive the product prior to November 30, 2025 to meet the grant funding deadline. The Special Investigations Bureau is in need BTX Detectors (handheld X-Ray imagers) for the purpose of locating concealed contraband quickly and effectively during traffic stops.
