The National Gallery of Art, in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the National Endowment for the Arts, is seeking proposals for the design, creation, and maintenance of a website. This platform will serve as an online exhibition space and information source for 2,500 works of art located in one gallery or museum across each of the 50 states. The project will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract for the initial development, while ongoing maintenance will be handled on a time and materials basis. Proposals will be evaluated based on four equally weighted factors: technical understanding and approach, management approach, business viability, and past performance. Interested vendors must submit their quotes, including completed representations and certifications, to the Office of Procurement and Contracts. The solicitation is governed by commercial item regulations and requires that all provided services be fit for the specific purposes outlined in the scope of work.
