This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command to issue a modification on an other than full and open competition basis under an existing Contract N00019-12-C-0126 with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), San Diego, CA to provide additional sustaining engineering and logistical supply support, including LCS Class 1/2 Dynamic Interface and Ship Integration for the Vertical Take-off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV). NGC is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the VTUAV. Accordingly, NGC is the only firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical expertise and understanding of the Fire Scout design, operation and maintenance requirements to provide the engineering and software support.
