Full Description

Air Force Program Executive Office (AFPEO) for Electronic Information Systems (ESC), located at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB)-Gunter Annex, has a sole source requirement to SanSoft, Inc., 1616 Westgate Circle, Suite 122, Brentwood, Tennessee 37027 to renew the purchase of maintenance for proprietary VuPort/VuWin software in support of Automated Civil Engineer (ACES) and Interim Work Information Management System (IWIMS) programs. Maintenance includes the right to receive and use all updates, enhancements and modifications to the programs licensed, which are released by SanSoft, Inc. from time to time. Technical support provides end user developers access to our technical support line. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2). The existence of copyrights and data proprietary to SanSoft, Inc. preclude any other source from providing the full range of services required to meet the Air Force's need. A firm-fixed price contract for date of award through 31 Mar 2013 is contemplated. The Air Force has determined that the required services are commercial items as defined in FAR 2.101.
