The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract, with 4 option years, to be negotiated on an unrestricted, full & open basis for 4 each medical video towers and disposables in support of U.S. Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. The contractor shall lease the 4 each medical video towers and disposables in accordance with specifications that will be on the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO on or about 22 July 2011 with a closing date around 22 August 2011. Delivery date is anticipated to be approximately 30 days after receipt of contract. The medical video towers and disposables will be shipped FOB destination to Japan. Inspection and acceptance is FOB destination. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, and 13.5, utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable proceedures. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-11-P-0698. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments.
