The items required under this contract will be deemed brand name in nature in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 - Brand Name or equal. The soft ware specifications in the purchase request cannot be altered, changed or substituted. This notice is a request for competitive quotations and a notice of the Governments intent to procure the following items.(40) ACROBAT PRO 8 WIN LICENSE Mfg Part #5402 0857RT (40) ACROBAT MAINT POP contract award 31 May 2007 Mfg Part#09946139R3 (1) ACROBAT PRO WIN CD MEDIA ONLY Mfg# Part22020360 (40) PHOTOSHOP CS 2.9 WIN LICENSE Mfg#54018226RT. JUSTIFCATION FOR INSCOMs PROCUREMENT OF BRAND NAME OR EQUAL items listed above: a. Functionality: This software is used to publish (and edit) DCGS-A (Fixed) analytical products in the Postcript Data Format (PDF). b. Maintenance: Annual Software Maintenance support required (updates, bug fixes and patches, and technical support). c. The specifications in the purchase request cannot be altered, changed or substituted. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses.
