This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: Numega Solutions, LLC, 8822 Western Hemlock Way, Lorto n VA for the procurement of 15 each Avocent 4Port Cybex Switchview KVM P2/2/Ser 1 User PC, 60 each Avocent 6FT Single Cable-Ser MS/AT or PS2 Kybd & VGA F/Switchview & S, 100 each Allied Telesyn 100BFX SC PC1 Fast Enet Adapter Nic, and 50 each 3Com 100 Secu re Fiber Nic Yellowjacket PLUS Dual-Mode WLAN receiver system for 802.11 B/G. Numega Solutions, LLC is deemed the sole designer, manufacturer, and distributor of this system. INTENTION: Award the above-stated requirement directly to BVS. The supplies/s ervices required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. DURATION: D elivery to be made by no later than 2 August 2006. All quotations received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/c ontract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
