Wallops Flight Facility Metrology and Calibration Lab Services

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to award a HUBZone sole-source, firm fixed-price contract for calibration services at the Metrology and Calibration Lab at Wallops Flight Facility to Rothe Inc. This procurement shall provide complete calibration and repair services for customers Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE). MTE includes diagnostic and prognostic equipment; semiautomatic and automatic test equipment (with issued software); calibration, test, or measurement equipment; and bench set-ups used as standards. This contract controls the accuracy, reliability and use of MTE by requiring an accredited calibration system, compliant with the requirements of NASA-STD-8739.12. All responsible sources may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact. The capability statement should include, but is not limited to, the company name, address, phone number, point of contact, and any relevant qualifications. No solicitation exists, therefore do not request one. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, December 12, 2018. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
