Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) For Waste Collection for Housing Services Centre (HSC) Yellowknife This requirement is for: Department of National Defence (DND) – Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) 1. CFHA, within DND, has a requirement for waste collection for Residential Housing Units (RHUs) located in the City of Yellowknife. 2. Conditional set-aside for Indigenous Businesses This procurement is conditionally set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. For more information on Aboriginal business requirements of the Set-aside Program for Indigenous Business, please refer to clause 2.3 and 9.5. This procurement is conditionally set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Aboriginal peoples or for set-asides for small and minority businesses. The trade agreements listed below do not apply to this requirement due to the conditional set-aside for Indigenous businesses, in accordance with CLCA requirements for Indigenous business participation in the procurement process. If the conditions are not met, the procurement will remain open for competition among all suppliers. 5. Security Requirements There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. 6.
