The United States Coast Guard is seeking sources information for water quality testing services in Mobile Bay, Alabama. The contractor would provide all labor, boat, fuel, sample containers, labels, chain of custody forms, reports, and other items and services necessary to perform water quality samples collected from Mobile Bay, Alabama. The sample analysis would commence in July 2011 and end in June 2012. The contractor would perform the work in accordance with a to be provided performance work statement, as well as all applicable local, state and federal regulations. The contractor would collect and anaylze surface water samples from 3 locations in Mobile Bay, Alabama for Enterococci analysis (EPA 1600), Total Organic Carbon (5310B) and Total Suspended Solids (2540.D). The samples would be collected twice per month from July 2011 through June 2012, for a total of 216 samples. Sample locations are: 1. 3 miles west of Point Clear, AL N 30-27.7/W 087-59.2; 2. 1 mile southwest of Middle Bay Light, N 30-26.0/W 088-00.5; 3. 2 miles south of Spoils/Gaillard Island N 30-28.1/W 088-02.3.
