Water Softeners Service Maintenance

The City of Austin is seeking a qualified contractor to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for Kinetico commercial water softener systems used by the Austin Water Department. The scope of work includes establishing an annual preventative maintenance schedule to inspect system components and providing on-call repair services for leaks, control valve rebuilds, and troubleshooting. Key deliverables include detailed maintenance reports for each unit, featuring system conditions and hardness test results. The contract consists of an initial twelve-month term with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions. To be eligible, contractors must possess at least five years of continuous experience with commercial water softener systems comparable to the Kinetico Commercial Plus Series 216 and must be an authorized service provider or provide proof of manufacturer-specific technician training.
