Water Treatment Supplies

The Government of Saskatchewan is inviting qualified suppliers to respond to Request for Supplier Qualifications SK-121-2025 for the provision of Water Treatment Supplies. This solicitation aims to establish a prequalified list of vendors whose products and services may be utilized by a wide range of entities across the broader public sector in Saskatchewan, including ministries, crown corporations, municipal governments, school boards, health and social service agencies, and First Nation schools. Participation is exclusively through the Government Enterprise Management system, where suppliers must be registered to access documents, submit questions, receive updates, and ultimately submit their responses by the deadline of May 28, 2026. All communications, amendments, and clarifications will be posted exclusively on the GEM platform, and no proposals will be accepted outside this system. The opportunity is open to suppliers who meet the technical and qualification requirements outlined in Appendix A and is intended to support cost-effective, reliable access to water treatment supplies for public sector needs across the province. The solicitation is managed by SaskBuilds and Procurement under the Government of Saskatchewan, with Gilbert Niyoyita serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries. Although the contract data erroneously lists the agency as the Government of Canada, the procurement is firmly a provincial initiative focused on entities within Saskatchewan. The NAICS code 423720 indicates the classification relates to plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies merchant wholesalers. Suppliers not currently registered on GEM must complete the self-registration process prior to the response deadline, and all interactions with the procurement process are digital and must occur through the official portal. Ownership of any source code or proprietary technology remains with the supplier, but the resulting prequalified list may be used by multiple BPSA entities without additional recompensation or recompetition.
