Solicitation # 36C26227Q0058
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the NCO 22 Gilbert Network Contracting office, has issued a Sources Sought Notice and Request for Information to identify qualified sources for a gravimetric scale solution at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in California. This is not a formal solicitation but a planning effort to gather market research and determine the availability of capable vendors under NAICS code 334519, which has a size standard of 600 employees. The government is seeking a solution for a base period plus four option years that must fully integrate with the existing BD Pyxis IV Prep workflow platform for sterile compounding documentation, ingredient verification, and quality assurance without requiring the replacement of the current system. The selected vendor will be responsible for installation, operational verification, and ongoing technical support. Interested respondents must provide a detailed capabilities statement, business size status, and information regarding FDA clearance, Buy American Act compliance, and lead times. NOAAPort Replacement Capabilities
Solicitation # 142083-27-0002
The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Weather Service (NWS) have issued Request for Information (RFI) No. 142083-27-0002 to conduct market research for the replacement of the legacy NOAAPort Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN). The government is seeking information on innovative, high-reliability distribution capabilities—which could be cloud-based, terrestrial, satellite, or hybrid—to deliver mission-critical weather data to a geographically dispersed user community. The replacement system must support the exchange, ingestion, processing, and distribution of data products and must integrate with the NWS Hydrometeorological Interactive Virtual Environment (HIVE) and the Centralized Integrated Real-Time Repository for Unified Services (CIRRUS) using common internet protocols such as APIs and MQTT. This notice is for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation for award; no funds have been authorized or appropriated for this effort at this time. The NWS intends to deactivate the legacy SBN as early as August 31, 2027, and is requesting industry feedback on technical architectures, cloud migration strategies, security protocols, and rough order of magnitude cost estimates. Interested respondents must submit their responses in Microsoft Word or PDF format to the designated points of contact by October 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The government is utilizing this RFI to inform its acquisition strategy and evaluate potential small business set-aside opportunities under NAICS code 541512.
