The replacement capability must support the exchange, ingestion, processing, and distribution of data while integrating with the NWS Hydrometeorological Interactive Virtual Environment (HIVE) and the Centralized Integrated Real-Time Repository for Unified Services (CIRRUS) using common internet protocols such as APIs and MQTT. This notice is for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, request for quote, or binding contract, and no funds have been authorized or appropriated for the effort at this time. Interested respondents must submit their responses in Microsoft Word or PDF format to the designated points of contact by October 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with questions due by October 15, 2026. The government is utilizing this RFI to determine the most effective acquisition strategy, including potential small business set-asides and the most appropriate contract structure, such as firm-fixed-price, managed services, or Data-as-a-Service. The preliminary NAICS code identified for this effort is 541512.
