Wharfhead Repairs

Transport Canada has issued solicitation T8080-260303 for the repair of structural deficiencies at the Kyuquot Public Port Facility wharfhead and approach in British Columbia. The scope of work includes mandatory requirements for the removal and disposal of five bearing piles and three fender piles, the supply and installation of five new bearing piles and three new fender piles, and the replacement of three safety ladders. Additionally, the contract includes optional repairs for the removal and installation of two additional bearing piles. The successful contractor must provide a comprehensive workplan, methodology, and schedule, and deliver final reporting including before-and-after photos and technical analyses. This opportunity is restricted to Canadian suppliers and is subject to a weighted evaluation where technical merit accounts for 70% and price accounts for 30% of the final score. To be compliant, bidders must meet all mandatory technical criteria and achieve a minimum of 35 out of 50 points on the rated technical evaluation.
