Description of Work: Work for this project consists of constructing a roadway embankment with turnouts and lead-off ditches; installing specified multi-axial geogrid geosynthetic on approved constructed roadway; furnishing, placing and compacting the aggregate material base course on the geogrid; seeding and installing specified erosion control material; and a final shaping of the roadway as specified. Work will be performed on a designated 1.7 miles of Whitetail Road #224 per Base Item, with Optional Item of additional aggregate placement on Whitetail Road #224. Roadway will be constructed to a fourteen (14) foot wide roadway surface as Shown on the Drawings. Blade the placed aggregate to provide a smooth-running surface with a centerline crown. Reference (FP-24) Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges as shown in the Specifications and Drawings. Work to be completed shall be as shown in the Statement of Work, Schedule of Items, Plans and Drawings and Specifications.
