Boat Maintenance

Marine Forces Special Operations Command is seeking information from vendors capable of providing comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance services for a specialized maritime fleet, including Silver Ships, Open Water Safety Craft (Safe Boats), and their associated Boatmaster Trailers. The Government requires vendors to demonstrate expertise in lifecycle support and repair services covering mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including diagnostics and repairs for Mercury and Suzuki marine engines, Furuno radar, sonar, GPS/chart plotter systems, marine radios, fuel systems, hull structural repairs, marine welding, corrosion mitigation, and water integrity inspections. Maintenance must adhere to standard manufacturer-recommended schedules such as 100-hour, 300-hour, and annual services, and include detailed reporting, parts and labor tracking, historical maintenance records, and technical consultations for long-term readiness recommendations. All services are to be performed at the designated place of performance in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This is a Request for Information (RFI), not a solicitation for proposals, and no binding contract or pricing data is being requested at this time. The RFI is intended for market research and to assess industry capabilities, with responses due by July 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time via email to the designated point of contact. Submissions must be limited to five pages and must include the vendor’s DUNS number, CAGE code, business size classification, and socio-economic status certifications such as Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, or EDWOSB. The North American Industry Classification System code is 441222, Boat Dealers, with a size standard of $40 million, and this action is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5. While no formal contract clauses, evaluation factors, or inspection criteria are included, interested parties are expected to provide evidence of relevant prior contracts detailing scope, value, and customer points of contact to validate capability. Questions must be submitted no later than June 23, 2026.
