Willow Run Multi-Use Trail Extension

The Willow Run Multi-Use Trail Extension project, solicitation number OPS 26-PW-08, is issued by the Town of Aylmer for the construction of a 410-meter multi-use path extending from the Willow Run Subdivision to the East Elgin Community Complex. The scope of work includes excavation, grading, granular base installation, and asphalt surface paving, as well as the design, supply, and installation of a prefabricated pedestrian bridge superstructure over Catfish Creek. All work must be performed at 531 Talbot Street West, Aylmer, Ontario, and must be substantially performed by June 30, 2027, with final completion required within 14 calendar days thereafter. Bidders must submit a bid deposit of 50,000.00 dollars and provide performance bonds for 100 percent of the contract price and labour and material payment bonds for 50 percent. Payment is structured monthly, with mobilization payments split as 50 percent upon commencement and 10 percent upon substantial performance. Technical requirements include the use of a CALA-accredited laboratory for soil testing and a CCIL Type A or AMRL equivalent certified laboratory for mix designs.
