The project involves stabilizing approximately 210 linear feet of streambank along Winhall Brook in accordance with accepted standards set forth in the Vermont Rivers and Roads Field Manual. The work encompasses all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the streambank restoration to prevent erosion and enhance ecological stability. This effort is estimated to have a construction magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000 and is fully set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 238910, with a small business size standard of $19 million. The solicitation will be published on or about February 6, 2025, and will be accessible solely through the SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the project site, with compliance evaluated against the prescribed standards and Statement of Work requirements. While formal contract clauses, evaluation factors, and detailed pricing structures are not yet available, the contract award will mandate adherence to the Vermont Rivers and Roads Field Manual along with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
