Winter Storms 2024-25 Damaged Site – Cavedale Road

The County of Sonoma is undertaking emergency repairs to Cavedale Road at Post Miles 11.11 and 11.23 near Agua Caliente, California, following severe storm and flood damage during the 2024–25 winter season. The work involves reconstructing approximately 90 linear feet of roadway at PM 11.11 and 120 linear feet at PM 11.23, with extensive earthwork including excavation, subgrade benching, installation of rock slope protection with geotextile fabric and a fully grouted keyway, drainage improvements, guardrail placement, and reconstruction of the roadway surface using aggregate base and asphalt concrete.
