The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Berkeley Varitronics Systems for the acquisition of WallHound-Pro Wireless Detection and Deterrent Alert Systems, specifically part number 0060-WALL-PRO, to fulfill the September 2023 SECDEF mandate for wireless intrusion detection in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and Special Access Program Facilities. The system must detect unauthorized personal electronics without relying on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for detection, but the WallHound-Pro is uniquely identified as the only item capable of meeting this requirement despite its ability to detect 2G through 5G non-mmWave cell signals, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy signals. Delivery is expected within 14 days of order placement, with an anticipated award date of July 13, 2026, and the solicitation number is FA8201-26-Detection. This presolicitation notice is not a request for quote, and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred by potential responders. Although all responsible sources may submit a proposal, the contract is intended for sole source award to Berkeley Varitronics Systems due to the system’s unique compliance with the mandated capabilities. The contracting office is located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, under the Department of Defense, with Brian Green and Bryce Michelson designated as the primary and secondary points of contact. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334290, and the response deadline for any submissions is June 22, 2026.
